En el planeta Tierra existe una gran variedad de flora y fauna, estas tienen algo en común: la amenaza de extinción. La raza humana es la causante de que las especies de flora y fauna se encuentren en peligro de extinción con los impactos que generan sus actividades en el ecosistema. Si la extinción de especies continúa va a haber un punto en el que no queden especies en el planeta, llevando a la destrucción de nuestra propia especie. Todos somos responsables de que esto sea posible. Los matamos para usar sus pieles como abrigo y para comerlos; los cambiamos de hábitat, introduciéndoos a distintos ecosistemas donde deben competir con las especies nativas por un espacio"propio"; son utilizados para ahuyentar especies que creemos amenazas (el yaguareté por ejemplo). Además de matarlos, comerlos y cambiarlos de ecosistema, destruimos sus hábitat para el beneficio de nuestra especie, erosionando suelos para el cultivo y la ganadería, talando miles de metros para utilizar la madera como combustible, para hacer papel higiénico o simplemente urbanizar la zona.
