"Boys will be boys" and "Equal rights" are both stories about prejudice because in both of them they think girls deserve less than boys and they don't value or think that woman can do the same that man.
Both stories are narrated in 1st person. In equal rights the setting is place in a office, in boys will be boys is set in a beach on a sunday afternoon. The main characters in "Equal rights" are the narrator , Bobby, Mr Dawson and Mr. Dawson daughter. In "Bwbb" the main characters are Chris, Nicky and Gidday. The conflict of "boys will be boys" was that the cars that came from the city throwed rubbish into the house, so because of this the girls had to cleaned all the time the house . In "Equal rights" the conflict was that the narrator wanted a job , so the men of the newspaper told her that she was going to be paid 1£ less only because she was girl. At the end of the story she gets the job and 1£ more because she pretends to be Mr Dawson daughter, an important man.
The stories take place in different situations , because in "Equal rights" the story is ironic , because is ironic that someone paid you 1£ less just because you are a girl. And in "Boys will be boys" the story is exciting, because when the man get out from the car he thought they were boys, but the "boys" who throwed the nut to the car were girls .
I'd like like more "boys will be boys" because is interesting and makes you think about discrimination and all that, and in the other hand is very detailed.
